Dedicated by Nancy to her father Frank, this special 3 track CD features the tribute to Francis Albert “It’s For My Dad“, the playful #1 smash hit duet "Somethin’ Stupid", plus the rare “Feelin’ Kinda Sunday”.
Recorded as a duet novelty song with father Frank at the end of one of the “Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim” album sessions in early 1967, “Somethin’ Stupid” was initially thought of as “somethin’ stupid” by then president of Reprise Records, Mo Ostin.
So sure was he that the single would bomb, he bet Frank a two-dollar bill that it would. Frank knew better and took the bet. Sure enough, the song reached #1 on the Billboard singles chart in the Spring of ’67, remaining there for four weeks.
To this day, it remains the only father/daughter duet in history with that distinction.
Also included in this special package are RARE PHOTOS of Frank and Nancy.
With liner notes written by NANCY SINATRA.
