"STYLE," MEET "INSPIRATION"
CAPITOL RECORDS/EMI TO RELEASE THE RAT PACK: BOYS’ NIGHT OUT
In Stores: September 28, 2024

Hollywood, CA – July 7, 2024 -- Ladies and gentlemen, the boys are back in town. On September 28, Capitol Records/EMI Music Catalog Marketing will release The Rat Pack: Boys’ Night Out, a newly compiled 19-song collection. The new CD features the ultra-rare title track, Sinatra’s "Boys’ Night Out," familiar solo and collaborative classics and two rare Broadway favorites from the three coolest men to ever don a fedora - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr.

The Rat Pack revival is in full swing. The current success of Capitol/EMI’s Dino: the Essential Dean Martin, which upon its June 1 release stormed Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart to take the highest debut position for the week (#28), and has held steady in the Top 50 for over a month, clearly demonstrates the timeless appeal of the suave and sophisticated music created by the fabled Rat Pack.

This December, Warner Bros. Pictures will release Ocean’s Twelve (the follow-up to the studio’s blockbuster 2001 Ocean’s Eleven remake), and Nissan has enlisted Dean Martin’s "Ain’t That A Kick In the Head" for its current Altima TV advertising campaign. America’s unwavering intrigue in these celebrated performers is a testament to the timeless value of charm, style and sophistication in entertainment.

In 2001, Capitol/EMI launched the official Rat Pack CD series with EEE-O Eleven and
The Rat Pack: Live At The Sands. The following year, Capitol/EMI released Christmas With The Rat Pack, and in 2003, Warner Bros./Reprise Records released Live and Swingin’: The Ultimate Rat Pack. Combined worldwide sales for all four current official Rat Pack releases is close to one million units.

The Rat Pack has long provided the official soundtrack to the epitome of cool: they taught you how to tilt your hat just so, with voices more warming to the senses than the smoothest scotch. The contributions of Frank, Dean, and Sammy in the category of style are immeasurable, and the 19 Rat Pack favorites featured on Boys’ Night Out offer tangible evidence of their unforgettable impact in the world of music. This release hosts classic collaborations between the Rat Packers, including Frank and Dean’s "Guys and Dolls," from the legendary Loesser and Burrows Broadway staple "Guys and Dolls." Three creates a delightful crowd with "We Open in Venice," a rare favorite from Cole Porter’s "Kiss Me Kate," featuring the vocal talents of all three men. Also included are Sinatra’s "Just One Of Those Things," Sammy’s "Something’s Gotta Give," and Martin’s charming "Grazi, Prego, Scuzi," and other solo favorites.

Of course, the holidays are not complete without the classic charm of the Rat Pack’s timeless renditions of the season’s standards. This fall, Capitol/EMI will also offer two swingin’ holiday collections: Christmas With The Rat Pack (available September 7) and Christmas With Dino (available September 21). After all, nothing is cozier during the holidays than the sound of Frank, Dean, and Sammy singing classics like "I’ll Be Home For Christmas," and "Baby, It’s Cold Outside." Grab some hot cocoa, and let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! * * *
